Hi, I'm Aurielle Felix and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the founder of Ellara, a woman-owned, black-owned interior design studio. I've always believed our spaces are more than places to live, because they are living reflections of who we are, how we feel, and the lives we want to grow into. That's what my Grandmother taught me, every weekend for Sunday cleaning.

I was also taught by my background in psychology and research how environments shape behavior, mood, and connection. My passion for design, stemming from my IKIGAI, is in bridging the gap between nature and us. Therefore, our homes, workspaces, and communities become extensions of our highest selves. 

​

Through Ellara, I bring together interior design, new construction planning, and recently landscaping with a holistic, biophilic approach. I design for how the space will look, of course, AND for how it will feel to live in... day in and day out. It's for the light that hits your favorite chair, that vintage piece of art that catches your eye every time you pass that corner, and for the way you're excited to enjoy your back patio and gaze at the plants.

See, I love the details... Anyone who has ever known me will tell you the same. I can take the big picture of a bathroom remodel, and scale it down to what it'll actually be like to use the bathroom everyday.

And when I'm not designing, you might find me playing the piano, making jewelry, or exploring the outdoors. These are passions that flow into my work and remind me of the balance between creativity, stillness, and consistency.
